When I close my eyes and think of your presence in my life, and particularly the journey you shared with Jens, Niobe, and I, I see and feel a large, soft, and silvery blanket. It's wrapped around my belly and I. Not at all in a suffocating way, but in that way mothers tuck the duvet around their children, in that way that signals safety, love, and tenderness. The entity that is my belly and I, wrapped in that blanket, is being gently rocked, as if suspended in the sky. 

To this day, I still find myself in awe of the warmth, understanding, and empathy you brought to our relationship. Your aura is wise Toni. Your energy is powerful. 

Thank you for encouraging me to see the magic:  groundedness duality of pregnancy, labor, and motherhood. Thank you for your generosity, not only of time but also of love. And a special thanks to the universe for making our paths meet. 

Toni is an incredibly passionate birth worker. She has profound wisdom and carries an aura of loving femininity that not many in this world have. She is the sister that you always wish you had. The one who comes to your house and cleans your dishes and showers you with love and affection. Toni reminds you that you are not alone in the journey of motherhood and that you are surrounded by loving arms that will hold you. She is the friend that listens when you are down and lifts you up and reminds you that you are a Queen. She helps you tap into your innate power as a woman and that is just priceless. 

Toni also possesses a wealth of knowledge about the medical aspects of pregnancy and childbirth. She can be a potent advocate for your voice in a system that can often make a pregnant mother feel powerless. She reminds everyone who is boss… aka you.

Toni was our doula for the birth of both of our babies, Leah and Casey. She was our anchor. Guiding us through these experiences with both heart and mind, Toni interacts and teaches with a loving warmth strengthened by a deep wisdom. Her level of intuition towards pregnancy, labour, birth and post-partum care is not something one just learns—she has a remarkable gift and is in the perfect line of work!

With our first, Toni provided indispensable guidance in preparing us for our daughter’s birth. She had numerous creative solutions, unwavering patience, and intuitive support throughout our daughter’s lengthy labour. Post-partum, she helped us navigate several stressors with love and acceptance. With our second, Toni found and filled the remaining holes in our experience to once again guide us through the beautiful birth of our son. We feel incredibly lucky to have met Toni and had her by our side when our babies entered the world!
